My love of classical art techniques, illustration, design, sculpture, anatomy, and figure drawing served well as my inspiration in my early days as a freelancer. I recognized a chance to make my love for the craftsmanship of drawing and painting into a business and set out to discover what art and design were really capable of being. I made the judgment call to take the plunge and drive my dream with full force despite the dangers and uncertainty.
I initially encountered a variety of difficulties that made me fell into the trap of self-doubts pertaining to art as a business. I struggled with lacking business knowledge, resources, and management skills for teams and resources.
The 2008 financial crisis had a huge impact on my business Gnome International Inc with millions of dollar worth of inventory sitting in the warehouse and no cash flow, and I had to fire everyone.
Personally, I am on the verge of filing for bankruptcy, which contributed to my depression. Despite these challenges, I am consistent and persistent in pursuing success.
Then 2008 financial crisis hit hard, leaving my first business, Gnome International Inc, with millions of dollars in inventory and no cash flow. I had to fire my entire team, and bankruptcy was looming over me. It was a dark time, and I struggled with depression that followed.
I faced countless challenges when I started my art business, and self-doubt consumed me. I lacked proper business knowledge, resources, and team management skills, making it extremely difficult to move forward.
But I refused to give up. I keep pushing forward with consistency and persistence, determined to turn my passion for art into a successful business.

Kea, a fiercely talented and ambitious street graffiti artist with creative ideas like no other, caught my eye with the same unrelenting hunger for success. Our shared work ethic and vision made us unstoppable as business partners. Together, we filled knowledge gaps and explored best practices, pushing each other's boundaries to level up. With aligned thoughts and creativity, we became formidable forces in the commercial world, building and grinding.
As a visionary entrepreneur, I co-founded Plot Studio, a branding design firm committed to excellence. With my talented partner KEA, we created a thriving business ecosystem that propelled us to launch Croxxbones, a streetwear brand that set new standards for creativity and operational excellence. It was a thrilling journey, marked by breakthroughs and hard-earned victories. But I didn't stop there. I went on to establish Inno Rocks LLC, a production agency for apparel and lifestyle merchandise. All three companies were built from the ground up, fueled by my sweat equity and a relentless growth mindset. And thanks to that same mindset, I was able to turn all three ventures into seven-figure success stories.
Despite 20 years of arduous labor and perseverance, I faced countless difficulties and barriers that took a toll on my family and dear wife Shizuko, pushing me to search for techniques and build relationships with successful business owners, yet I still felt like something was lacking.
A soul-searching question forced me to reevaluate my priorities and take control of my life; I made the tough decision to sell and exit my beloved businesses, Croxxbones and Plot Studio, to create and implement an exit strategy within 1.5 years for a better family life.
To ensure the scalability of my businesses, I focused on duplicating my skills and knowledge by creating detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), frameworks, a solid hiring and firing system, and an internal team with external resource collaboration pipeline, ultimately building a knowledge base that allowed me to transition from irreplaceable to replaceable and become free to train new talent to cope with growth.
Implementing new approaches came with its fair share of setbacks and obstacles, including friction with my partner KEA and conflicts with team leaders, resulting in the loss of key employees and a performance hit. Despite these challenges, I persevered and learned valuable lessons about leadership and teamwork.
My unwavering persistence and determination paid off as my businesses thrived, ultimately leading to the realization of my goal of building three 7-figure empires and attaining financial freedom and an enviable work-life balance.
As I achieved financial stability and success, I continued to grow and expand my businesses, while also giving back to the entrepreneurial community by offering strategic consulting, coaching, and mentoring services to help aspiring entrepreneurs succeed on their own journeys.
As my companies thrive, I've become a respected figure in the business community, using my expertise to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs through coaching, consulting, and mentoring. My journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and hard work, and I aim to motivate others to pursue their dreams with the same determination.
With a wealth of experience under my belt, I ventured back into the business sector to share my knowledge and help other entrepreneurs succeed, and after assisting hundreds of entrepreneurs, I developed the Life Tree Mastery methodology, a comprehensive blueprint to help others achieve their goals through developing their tailored strategy map and battle plans to growth.
Building a successful business and achieving financial stability wasn't enough for me. I worked with a 9-figure business coach named Benjamin to find inner peace to work balance as well as expand my enterprise to 8 figures. I now reside in Taipei, Taiwan, as a proud father of twins, Amelia and Joshua. Watching them grow and develop three separate linguistic skills has been a joy. Along the way, I have also found fulfillment in helping other entrepreneurs achieve their dreams through my Life Tree Mastery methodology and system.
